The primary role of the Director, SCR Operations at Southwire Company, LLC is to lead all facets of the spare sales initiative, which encompasses marketing, procurement, logistical execution, and business development of the SCR business. This position is critical in creating and executing SCR's commercial strategies to achieve business objectives. The Director will be responsible for strategic planning, managing and developing the spare parts sales organization, and ensuring the highest levels of customer service throughout the logistical coordination and delivery process. This individual will work closely with the SCR VP/GM to determine and monitor the department's key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue versus plan, sales pipeline goals, new business goals, and gross profit percentage. In addition to leading the spare parts sales initiative, the Director will develop relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying key threats and opportunities and implementing plans to address both. The role also involves developing relationships with key suppliers to drive out costs while maintaining high service levels and ensuring redundancy of supply for risk mitigation. The Director will manage the marketing budget to maximize SCR business exposure in the international market and will deploy various marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate leads for the overall SCR sales team. Furthermore, the Director will oversee participation in relevant industry associations, events, and trade shows to promote both spare parts and SCR systems. The functional elements of SCR commercial and logistical processes, including Letters of Credit, Shipping and Receiving, and Office Management, will also fall under the Director's purview.
