About the position
As a Director of Security Assurance at Kyndryl, you will lead efforts to ensure the cybersecurity of a diverse portfolio of Fortune 500 clients. This role emphasizes not just compliance but also proactive risk management and the application of offensive security techniques to protect against emerging threats. You will be responsible for shaping the cybersecurity landscape through innovative solutions and processes, ensuring audit readiness, and driving excellence in security practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Security Assurance practice to safeguard clients' digital footprints.
- Conduct security and risk assessments using established frameworks.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with various cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and methodologies.
- Collaborate with clients to enhance their cybersecurity posture.
- Drive innovation in cybersecurity solutions and processes.
Requirements
- 20 years of cybersecurity experience.
- Knowledge of global cyber threats and tactics used by adversaries.
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, RMF, and ISO.
- Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, and PCI-QSA.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience with NIST 800-30, ISO 27005, or ISO 31000 risk frameworks.
- Experience with audits including SOC1/SOC2/SOC3, ISO 27001, HITRUST, and PCI-DSS.
- Additional certifications such as CISM or CISA.
