About the position

As a Director/Senior Director of Product Management at Salesforce AI Cloud, you will focus on developing and shaping innovative products that leverage advanced AI technologies, particularly large language models (LLMs). This role emphasizes a deep technical understanding of AI to inform product strategy and decision-making, while collaborating with customers to create AI-powered prototypes that meet market demands. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Strategy by partnering with Salesforce AI Research to develop cutting-edge AI prototypes.
• Engage with high-profile customers to rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-powered solutions.
• Oversee the development of early-stage AI products, collaborating with AI researchers, data scientists, UX designers, and engineering teams.
• Create and manage a framework for strategic experimentation, including rapid innovation cycles and hypothesis validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Continuously learn from customers and the market to refine products and identify new opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
• Ensure products scale effectively and align with business objectives, including profitability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product management with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies, particularly generative AI, to inform product development decisions.
• Direct experience in developing and scaling AI-powered products, ideally in the generative AI space.
• Proven experience building 0-to-1 products in high-velocity environments, ideally from early-stage prototyping to market-ready solutions.
• Strong commitment to customer success with a track record of working directly with customers to iterate on prototypes.
