About the position

Aceable is looking for a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Director, Social Media to lead a growing social media team and navigate the ever-changing digital landscape. This position will have strategic oversight of all Aceable brands' presence, voice, and strategy across social platforms. You will lead a team responsible for content creation, social engagement, influencer campaigns, and paid social, ensuring our social media efforts contribute directly to customer acquisition, brand growth, and revenue. We are seeking a strategic thinker and problem solver with a proven track record in growing brand affinity. You will collaborate with marketing, product, and web teams to create a consistent brand voice across all social channels. As a key member of the marketing team, you will develop strategies to boost engagement, foster community, and drive performance, while tracking KPIs to ensure our social efforts align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the vision and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across product lines and brands within the Driving, Real Estate, and Insurance verticals
  • Define social media goals and metrics to track performance of all social channels
  • Create and implement innovative, engaging social media campaigns that foster audience interaction and grow account following
  • Manage influencer relationships and develop long-term partnerships to build brand trust and awareness
  • Oversee the social media content calendar and ensure alignment with campaign goals and platform trends
  • Monitor and analyze social media KPIs and performance metrics, optimizing strategies in real-time
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of internal staff, contractors and agencies in support of company goals
  • Collaborate with third-party providers to supplement Aceable's internal social media capabilities
  • Work closely with web and analytics teams to monitor performance and integrate insights into content and campaign strategies
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) organizations
  • 5+ years of management experience in social media with a focus on paid, organic, and influencer strategies; ideally managing a total social budget of at least $5 Million
  • Proven ability to grow a significant social media presence across platforms that contributed to material, profitable revenue growth
  • Experience leading teams and campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Ability to create compelling, story-based, channel-specific content that drives engagement
  • Strong expertise in performance tracking tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meltwater) and the analytical skills to interpret data for real-time and long-term decisions
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with other marketing and product teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Proven leadership experience in mentoring and building high-performance teams
  • Reside in one of the following locations: California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York (excluding Boroughs), North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
