About the position

The Director of Solution Engineering for Salesforce National Security is responsible for leading a team that supports the US Intelligence Community and National Security market. This role involves resource allocation, employee evaluations, strategic opportunity participation, and fostering relationships with Sales Leadership. The Director will also engage in hands-on problem-solving and may manage employees across different Salesforce offices, ensuring the team is motivated and aligned with the company's goals.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources effectively across the region to maximize impact.
• Perform employee reviews and evaluations to support team development.
• Participate in strategic opportunities and drive relationships with Sales Leadership.
• Support the Solution Engineering and Sales teams by providing guidance on sales strategies.
• Present CRM solutions to both business and technical audiences.
• Communicate and strategize with Sales Leadership to drive customer success and close deals.
• Act as a sounding board for team members, helping them navigate challenges.
• Set a positive team culture that encourages professional growth and collaboration.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph security access level.
• Prior Solutions Management experience in a related field.
• Proficient with CRM technologies or other Enterprise business applications.
• Analytical and strategic approach to solving complex business problems.
• Experience in managing strategic teams.

Nice-to-haves

• BA/BS in a related field.
• 5+ years of management experience with a successful track record.
• Familiarity with Cloud Security & Compliance (FedRAMP, Risk Management Framework, DoD IL levels, ICD, etc.).
• Industry experience with the Intelligence Community.
