About The Position
Rittal, LLC is seeking a Director of Sourcing & Procurement to lead our sourcing initiatives and drive procurement strategies for our subsidiary. This role is pivotal in ensuring the availability of materials and components necessary for our operations, particularly in the areas of steel and steel fabricated parts. The ideal candidate will possess international sourcing experience and a strong background in managing commodity groups. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing new sourcing markets, as well as developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with the global objectives of Rittal. As the Director, you will lead a team that includes a Local Commodity Manager and a Local Buyer, overseeing their performance and development. Your leadership will be crucial in presenting targets and requirements to align with Rittal's global sourcing and commodity management goals. You will also be tasked with ensuring that the local targets are met while maintaining a focus on strategic and tactical material availability for all stakeholders. In this role, you will engage in variance and gap analysis of the sourcing team's skill sets, developing training and development plans as necessary. You will also be responsible for the identification and implementation of sourcing tools that enhance our procurement processes. Your proactive reporting on significant sourcing market developments will keep stakeholders informed and engaged. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a global organization.
