About the position

As a Sr. Finance Marketing leader at Care.com, you will play a key role in bridging the worlds of finance and marketing, driving strategic initiatives to optimize marketing investments and maximize ROI. Your expertise in financial analysis and marketing attribution will be essential in informing decision-making and shaping our marketing strategies. You will conduct financial analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights into ROI and performance metrics. Collaborating closely with Marketing and Finance teams, you will develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts for marketing spend and revenue impact. Additionally, you will lead marketing attribution efforts to determine the contribution of different channels and campaigns to overall revenue generation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced attribution models to accurately measure the impact of marketing activities on key financial metrics. Driving cross-functional partnerships with Marketing and Product teams will be crucial to align on business objectives and optimize resource allocation. You will prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations. Continuous monitoring and analysis of marketing performance will be part of your role, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, marketing analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and concepts, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools, with experience in SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution models and techniques, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both finance and marketing stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a finance-focused marketing role, preferably B2C or two sided market place company
  • Knowledge of marketing technologies such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and experiment design.
