About the position

The Director of Strategic Marketing at Educational Testing Service (ETS) will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies for the Global Higher Education to Workforce (GHE) team. This position focuses on branding product offerings, driving outcomes for learners and educational institutions, and achieving ambitious business growth goals. The director will lead the marketing team, manage internal and external agencies, and ensure the execution of business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and ethical compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the marketing and communications strategy to support business objectives for learner and higher education stakeholders.
  • Manage the marketing team to execute on the marketing strategy.
  • Oversee the overall marketing roadmap and priorities for the team, measuring output, performance, and ROI of all marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure high quality and judgment in marketing efforts, maintaining brand integrity.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing and brand experience, preferably with global scope and with a tech brand.
  • 3+ years of marcom / PR experience as a core component of the role.
  • Detailed knowledge of current digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, channel marketing, and funnel analytics.
  • Experience leading a brand and managing product marketing.
  • Understanding of modern CMS and UX.
  • Ability to set and measure performance against content and channel metrics.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Education and/or education technology experience.
  • Proven experience in leading global brand marketing strategy across value chains including B2B and B2C.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives.
