About the position
The Director of Strategic Sourcing is responsible for driving cost savings and optimizing inventory levels for the EMS (Phoenix) business group. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including demand planning, purchasing of materials, and overall supply chain management. The director will implement supply chain strategies, develop efficient processes, supervise personnel, and ensure that business commitments related to cost, quality, planning, and scheduling are met.
Responsibilities
- Drive cost savings and optimize inventory levels for the EMS (Phoenix) business group.
- Oversee demand planning and purchasing of materials.
- Manage overall supply chain operations and strategies.
- Develop and implement methods for efficient supply chains.
- Establish priorities and supervise personnel for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all business commitments are met regarding cost, quality, planning, and scheduling.
- Support projects as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree/MBA in Supply Chain Management or related discipline from an accredited university.
- Coursework must include Supply Management, Statistics, Decision Modeling, Data Analytics, and Managerial Finance.
