About the position

The Director of Strategy and Business Operations at Lenovo is responsible for managing business performance indicators and metrics across various business groups. This role involves developing in-depth industry analysis to support data-driven decision-making processes, coordinating initiatives across global operations, and enhancing team effectiveness to align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical and leadership skills to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business performance management frameworks aligned with organizational goals.
  • Set clear performance metrics for teams and departments for management review.
  • Analyze external and internal data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommendations.
  • Provide feedback to business groups and sales organizations to develop potential solutions.
  • Coordinate initiatives and communications across Global Operation towers and BG/Sales to drive operational optimization and cross-functional synergy.
  • Support Global Operation senior leadership meetings agenda, preparation, and follow-up action items.
  • Engage with BG/Sales organizations for strategic meetings preparation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Product/Business Operation related role.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role in the ICT industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing performance management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
