About the position

At Chewy, we strive to become the most trusted and convenient online destination for pet parents and our partners, vets and service providers alike. Our success is measured by the happiness of the people and pets we serve, not simply by the amount of pet supplies we deliver. That's why we continue to think of outside-the-Chewy-box ways to delight, surprise, and thank our loyal pet lovers! Chewy Studios is seeking a Director of Studio Production to lead the development and production of our catalog imagery and creative for the Chewy eCommerce Storefront. As the Director of Studio Production, you will collaborate with cross-functional and business customers across all levels to implement Studio Content. Partners and Team Members include Chewy Executives, Retail Operations, Brand and Product Marketing, Studio Management (FLL and DFW), Brand Creative, and 3rd party Production partners to deliver Chewy Product Video and Photo content at the highest quality and most efficient execution that meets and exceeds customer expectations. The volume, diversity of project types, and demands of our business ensure our work is multifaceted and fast-paced. A background leading and setting vision in a Studio production environment that produces eCommerce storefront content at scale is a requirement. The leader will have a strong production background for soft and hardlines content and is comfortable gauging feasibility and delivering on execution for production at scale. Advocacy and management for the safe handling of pet talent in our productions is of the highest priority and critical to the success of this role; therefore, experience in the Pet Industry and working with Pet talent is preferred. This person should have shown success leading, developing, and inspiring a team of creative art directors, producers, set designers, and talent management teams. Experience deriving optimizations for in-house production workflows, procedures, reporting, and measurement across people, processes, and tools is essential. They will be credible in ensuring accurate and measurable tracking and reporting of defined Key Performance Indicators to improve the utilization, capacity, volume, and velocity of the team to meet business demands at scale. One of Chewy Studios' greatest strengths is our culture and our people!
