About the position

The Director of Supply Chain Transformation is responsible for providing strategic leadership to managers and senior contributors across multiple regions or business functions. This role focuses on addressing complex supply chain issues, overseeing the planning and implementation of supply chain network design initiatives, and driving multi-year strategies to enhance supply chain performance. The position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, development of business cases for investments, and monitoring of key performance indicators to ensure effective delivery of supply chain programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and ongoing strategic leadership to a team of managers and senior individual contributors for a business function and/or region(s).
  • Sets overall program initiatives, allocates financial and human capital for supply chain programs and projects, and ensures timely and effective delivery.
  • Applies industry and subject matter expertise to solve complex supply chain issues.
  • Develops and leads planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of supply chain network design initiatives.
  • Partners with and influences internal and external stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Drives multi-year supply chain strategies and initiatives at the regional/global/business group level.
  • Devises new selling and partnering strategies for key complex accounts.
  • Develops business cases and financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Recommends metrics for tracking supply chain programs and monitors key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
