About The Position

The Director of Talent Acquisition at Novant Health is responsible for managing a team of recruiters to attract diverse talent that reflects the communities served by the healthcare system. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, streamlining recruitment processes, and enhancing the talent assessment process. The Director will lead initiatives to improve candidate experience, align talent strategies with organizational goals, and drive operational excellence across the system.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in human resources, business or related field of study required; graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of successful and progressively responsible supervisory/management experience required.
  • Exceptional operations management with strong attention to project deadlines and details.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into concise narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Power Point, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and inclusively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal results.
  • Respect for confidential information.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to integrate talent acquisition strategies into broader organizational initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to guide strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to attract and retain diverse talent, ensuring alignment with community representation.
  • Lead strategic initiatives related to talent acquisition, including workforce planning and employer branding.
  • Drive strategic talent projects from discovery through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Source, analyze, and synthesize data to drive strategic decisions and improvements.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on talent acquisition and market trends.
  • Actively seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine strategies and drive success.
  • Ensure compliance with human resources policies and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Cultivate an inclusive and supportive work environment.
