About the position

The Director of Technical Marketing - Motion Production is responsible for developing and executing the technical marketing strategy for motion production products at Fujifilm. This role involves collaboration with product development, sales, and marketing teams to effectively communicate the technical features and benefits of these products to target audiences. The position plays a key role in driving product adoption and market growth, overseeing field marketing efforts, and managing a team that includes the Senior Field Marketing Manager and Field Technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive technical marketing strategies for motion production cameras and lenses.
  • Identify key technical features and benefits of motion production cameras and lenses and create compelling technical marketing messages.
  • Lead the technical aspect of product launches, including the creation of technical documentation and presentations.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that highlight technical capabilities.
  • Develop high-quality technical content, including whitepapers and webinars, to educate potential customers.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for key customers and partners, providing technical support.
  • Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Analyze technical marketing performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
  • Work closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams to align technical marketing efforts with strategies.
  • Stay updated on advancements in cinema camera and broadcast optics technology.
  • Enhance the company's reputation by participating in industry events and contributing to publications.
  • Oversee the execution of field marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Manage and provide leadership to the Senior Field Marketing Manager and the Field Marketing Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience; 8-10 years of motion production related experience.
  • Ability to research and analyze data and make sound business judgments.
  • Ability to prioritize work and sales opportunities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Understand how to manage and cultivate an ongoing pipeline for B-to-C and B-to-B sales channels.
