About the position

The Director of Technical Product Management at Western Digital is responsible for developing and driving the product strategy and management for datacenter SSDs. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to post-release activities, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure product success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive product strategy for datacenter SSDs.
• Manage all stages of the product lifecycle including conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, customers, and partners to understand requirements and needs.
• Work with Product Marketing to create product-related sales and marketing materials.
• Evangelize products and product strategy both internally and externally.

Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent experience required.
• Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Flash-based products.
• 8+ years in product management.
