About the position

The Director of Global Technical Sales for Final Assembly & Packaging at PCI is responsible for leveraging extensive product knowledge and technical expertise to secure new client opportunities and drive growth. This role focuses on maximizing organic growth with strategic clients through exceptional proposal development and business expansion efforts. The director will engage in technical discussions, lead proposal development, and implement market strategies to enhance PCI's offerings and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Actively market PCI as the most technically capable and innovative solution provider.
  • Identify potential targets and report on results, pursuing improvement initiatives based on client feedback.
  • Author comprehensive and market differentiating proposals with a 'Wow' factor.
  • Lead and facilitate in-person sales/qualification activities to secure wins.
  • Orchestrate business development with technical client discussions and qualification activities.
  • Suggest new proposed solutions and technologies to address market trends and gaps.
  • Consult with clients to identify potential solutions and optimal product selection.
  • Orchestrate comprehensive proposal development to ensure the right level of delivery & content for clients.
  • Support segment leader in crafting and articulating global/regional strategy development.
  • Gather and report KPIs relative to goal attainment and implement solutions for gap analysis.
  • Partner with D&M/Clinical/Commercial sales-ops to implement a forward-looking business conversion mechanism.
  • Gather client VOC feedback and pursue improvement initiatives to address gaps.
  • Champion innovative and consultative offerings, implementing value pricing.
  • Report on results, KPIs, and business effectiveness, pursuing improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 4-6 years related experience and/or training.
  • Advanced computer skills with the ability to perform complex tasks and operate various programs.
  • Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing relevant to professional needs.
  • High reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
  • High standard of report writing.
