About the position
The Building Performance Technical Services Director (TSD) is responsible for managing high-standard building performance and operational services across a portfolio of over 200 buildings. This role involves overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, FLS, BMS, and 24/7 Operations Center services to ensure consistent, seamless, and efficient standards are met. The TSD will lead a team of five to seven direct reports and play a crucial role in maintaining high-performance standards while supporting clients' sustainability goals and ensuring occupant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-standard building performance and operational services across the portfolio.
- Oversee Mechanical, Electrical, FLS, BMS, and 24/7 Operations Center services.
- Direct base building services, operations center, and MEP directors.
- Maximize existing technology and digital building systems.
- Ensure optimal asset performance and energy management.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to clients.
- Oversee and report on KPIs (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Support engineering teams in operations and design assessment.
- Manage shutdown request process.
- Align with client's sustainability strategy and support Net Zero Carbon goals.
- Optimize energy efficiencies and provide compliance reporting.
- Work with IFM team and Built Environment team.
- Manage supply partners and liaise with Labs Pillar team for integrated service delivery.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, BMS, and SMART building services.
- Minimum 10 years' experience at technical engineering management level.
- Engineering degree preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in report writing and contract management.
- Understanding of statutory compliance and health and safety risk management.

Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $185,900 - $269,000 per year.
