About the position

The Director, Total Rewards is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the total rewards strategy at Stream Realty Partners. This position focuses on attracting, motivating, and retaining employees by overseeing HR operations, benefits, and payroll functions, ensuring alignment with business results and organizational culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team responsible for compensation, benefits & HRIS operations.
  • Administer benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401k, and wellness initiatives.
  • Analyze benefits plans and provide recommendations, leading annual open enrollment.
  • Work with insurance brokers and vendors to evaluate and recommend platforms for benefit program administration.
  • Oversee HRIS architecture and governance of changes and additions.
  • Develop and maintain job architecture framework through job analysis and role descriptions.
  • Maintain pay grades and salary ranges for job classifications, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Develop and manage performance management processes, merit cycles, and recognition programs.
  • Review pay increases and promotions, providing recommendations to management regarding compensation decisions.
  • Support the design and administration of incentive plans, facilitating payout processes in partnership with Finance and Payroll.
  • Ensure compliance through audits of benefits and compensation practices, including ACA reporting and 401k non-discrimination testing.
  • Create and manage leaves of absence programs.
  • Establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of total rewards programs.
  • Analyze data to inform decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Create communication strategies to educate employees about total rewards programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or payroll, HR operations functions.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team across various functions.
  • Substantial knowledge and expertise in benefits, payroll, and HRIS operations.
  • Experience creating and managing compensation plans.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
