As a key leader within our rapidly growing US Pharma Business Unit, you will play a pivotal role in driving substantial future growth and making a meaningful impact on patients' lives. This is an exciting time for a talented and passionate leader to join the launch team for our investigational novel treatment for adults with hypercholesterolemia to reduce LDL. The Director, Product Marketing Owner - HCC will play a critical role in charting the course for a significant launch in the Cardiovascular market. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced leader to build and lead a Customer Agile Team (CAT) while taking ownership of HCC Strategy and Activation. This position will report to the Executive Director, U.S. Commercial Leader (USCL), Atherosclerosis and will be based in the Upper Gwynedd, PA office. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for understanding gaps/barriers to health equity, developing the HCC strategy, optimizing customer experience, and driving patient activation and advocacy across the ecosystem. The candidate will lead, motivate, and inspire members of the CAT to drive results and deliver value aligned to the brand priorities. This high-profile role is designed to position the candidate for future leadership roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HCC strategy development and define priorities for patient activation/advocacy
  • Drive forward digital and data analytics, customer and market insights to understand gaps in health equity and barriers to appropriate testing/treatment
  • Identify opportunities for innovative technologies and/or external partnerships to drive awareness and urgency for appropriate patient care
  • Identify opportunities to optimize customer experience; lead customer experience roadmap development and execution
  • Build, lead and mentor a high-performing Customer Agile Team, comprised of experts in marketing, campaign design, development, and measurement
  • Take full responsibility for leading CAT in setting and meeting strategic priorities and quarterly objectives; lead agile quarterly planning stages to enable teams to quickly and effectively respond to changing business needs and priorities
  • Lead CAT to meet pre-launch and launch milestones, including creation of patient solutions and campaigns
  • Serve as subject matter expert for consumer insights and understanding
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise including Global Marketing, Data & Analytics, Payer Marketing, Policy, Global Communications, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders including Policy, Global Communications, Payer Marketing and external partners in planning and execution of patient education/activation activities
  • Partner with other Product Marketing Owners to drive transparency, coordination, and prioritization across the team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years combined experience in pharmaceutical marketing, customer segment marketing and/or payer marketing
  • Consumer marketing experience
  • Significant strategy development experience and in working in white space
  • Experience leading product positioning, branding and using data to make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to create solutions that drive value for our customers, incorporating innovative approaches where relevant
  • Adaptability to change, and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to achieve business results
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel marketing, including digital and non-digital channels, and experience working with agencies
  • Proven experience in effectively leading cross-functional, enterprise teams
  • Has a growth mindset, advocates for agile ways of working, and supports team members in learning and adoption
  • Experience working in and with diverse teams
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills and executive presence
