About the position

The Director of Sales and Marketing Operations at Organon will lead critical commercial enablement functions that drive business performance across various business units. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring operational excellence in sales and marketing processes. The Director will oversee sales planning, customer resource management, promotional review processes, and marketing operations, while also building and mentoring high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end sales planning process including org design, alignments, objective setting, and sales incentives.
  • Manage the US Commercial organization CRM capabilities (Veeva) to meet Business Unit objectives.
  • Oversee all commercial/compliance aspects of sampling and voucher operations, including vendor and budget management.
  • Manage promotional review processes, workflows, and operations support to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee promotional fulfillment systems and processes in support of business unit promotional and HCP training materials.
  • Manage the marketing operations budget, including forecasting and tracking expenditures.
  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing marketing and sales operations teams.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement across all process areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10-15 years of experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical device industry.
  • 5 years of experience in leading a team.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical and/or medtech Marketing and Marketing Operations processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical and/or medtech Sales and Sales Operations processes and tools.
  • Experience in cross-functional coordination and complex process management.
  • Ability to manage conflicting business priorities and translate them into executional processes.
  • Understanding of the sales force planning process.
  • Experience in data management and vendor management.
