About the position

The Director of Value, Evidence & Outcomes (VEO) at Arcellx is a senior leadership role focused on enhancing patient access and transforming healthcare delivery through health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE). This position serves as the primary interface with payers, health systems, and policymakers, driving the strategy and execution of RWE/HEOR initiatives to support the launch of innovative therapies, particularly in oncology. The role requires a deep understanding of the US healthcare system and the ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and utilize clinical, value, and outcomes evidence.
  • Synthesize, communicate, and translate complex information into actionable insights for value-based decision makers.
  • Collaborate with population-health decision makers to address their information needs.
  • Develop and execute the RWE/HEOR strategy in collaboration with internal and field-based partners.
  • Share expertise with customers as a trusted resource.
  • Facilitate mutually beneficial research collaborations based on clinical and analytic considerations.
  • Build proactive RWE/HEOR relationships that lead to innovative collaborations.
  • Maintain deep market and customer knowledge in the US healthcare ecosystem.
  • Stay updated on emerging science, environmental trends, and healthcare policy relevant to value-based decision makers.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, MS, MSN, MPH)
  • 7+ years of experience in a scientific or health-related field
  • Experience in oncology/hematology
  • Field-based customer-facing roles in industry
  • Deep understanding of the US healthcare system
  • Ability to analyze and communicate study findings on clinical and HEOR topics
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills
  • Experience working with value-based decision makers
  • Experience in data analytics and/or HEOR research/application
  • Demonstrated expertise in HEOR and value assessment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using real-world data
  • Familiarity with AMCP Dossiers and pharmacoeconomic models
