The Director of Web Communications at Collin County Community College is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the college's web communications. Additionally, the director will maintain and enhance the overall visual appeal and usability of the college website through the use of photos, graphics, and other visual elements, collaborating with designers to create user-friendly webpages. The role requires staying updated with industry trends and best practices in web design and template development, utilizing analytics tools to track website performance, user engagement, and conversion rates, and generating reports to inform decision-making. The director will establish the strategic direction of the college's website initiatives in support of the strategic objectives set by the college's Board of Trustees and administrative leadership. They will oversee the college's public website, ensuring ease of use for stakeholders, and set standards for customer responsiveness and proactive updates to enhance user experience. The director will manage a team of web content creators, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
