About the position

Kyndryl is seeking a result-oriented Director of Marketing responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, partner marketing, market intelligence, and product marketing for Skytap. The role requires a balance of strategic and tactical thinking, with a focus on building collaborative marketing teams that drive impactful results for the business.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert on the competition and lead discussions on competitive dynamics.
• Build strong relationships with key partners like Microsoft and IBM to enhance marketing efforts.
• Develop innovative marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Manage digital marketing assets including the corporate website and social media.
• Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to create necessary marketing collateral and training tools.
• Define and deliver differentiated product positioning for various customer segments.
• Lead segmentation efforts and develop customer insights through research and collaboration with product management and engineering teams.
• Define and own the marketing strategy, including staffing and hiring plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred.
• Strong executive presence and excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and manage change effectively.
• Demonstrated passion for customer insights and translating them into successful marketing execution.
• Proven ability to use data to drive decisions and communicate effectively at varying levels of detail.
• Experience in testing marketing hypotheses and iterating based on results.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
