About the position

Stanford Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the implementation of a complex academic website redesign and migration project. This role involves partnering with a design agency, internal IT team, and content migration agency to ensure a seamless transition to the new website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex website implementations, particularly with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and will be responsible for overseeing backend integration and content migration projects. The Technical Product Owner will also be tasked with understanding how data from internal systems connects to the AEM platform and other Adobe products such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Customer Data Platform. In this position, the Technical Product Owner will manage a team of professionals, utilizing their expertise in Adobe Marketing Cloud and AEM best practices to ensure optimal performance of the website migration workstreams. They will direct the agency team in creating an optimal user experience and design, while collaborating with the IT team to align functionality and design with technology capabilities. The role requires the creation and prioritization of user stories for the SHC IT Web team, planning each sprint development cycle, and ensuring timely execution of projects. The Technical Product Owner will gather and document requirements using JIRA workflows, ensuring clear communication and alignment with multiple stakeholders. They will also utilize SharePoint for collaboration and document management, ensuring legal and healthcare compliance in all website implementations. A strong understanding of accessibility in academia is essential, as the candidate will champion personalization, language, and content strategy implementation to ensure inclusivity for all users. This position is critical in maintaining a cohesive and visually appealing online presence for Stanford Health Care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of professionals through the successful implementation of a complex academic website redesign and migration project.
  • Utilize expertise in Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager implementation best practices to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the website migration workstreams.
  • Direct the agency team in creating the optimal user experience and design.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure alignment of functionality/design with technology capabilities.
  • Lead the creation of user stories utilized by the SHC IT Web team, prioritizing them and planning each sprint development cycle.
  • Oversee backend integration and content migration projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Gather and document requirements using JIRA workflows, ensuring clear communication and alignment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Utilize SharePoint to facilitate collaboration and document management within the team.
  • Ensure legal compliance and healthcare compliance in all website implementations, adhering to industry regulations and standards.
  • Champion personalization, language, and content strategy implementation ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Eight (8) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Proven experience in managing complex website implementations, preferably involving both Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong expertise in managing multiple integrations and migrations.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering using JIRA or similar ticketing system.
  • Experience with SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance and healthcare compliance.
  • Knowledge and expertise in academia, particularly in the area of website accessibility.
  • Strong understanding of language and content management for websites.
  • Familiarity with design systems, providing guidance and support to the team in maintaining a cohesive and visually appealing customer-focused online presence.
