About the position

The UX Manager II is responsible for leading a team of UX Designers to implement user-centered design strategies that align with business goals. This role involves collaborating with various teams, including technology partners, product, development, and marketing, to ensure a seamless user experience. The manager will mentor and inspire team members while overseeing the execution of design projects and advocating for best practices in user experience design.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategy implementation to ensure user needs and business requirements are represented in system features and functionality.
• Contribute to department strategy development to align user needs with business requirements.
• Approve process flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate high-level design strategies effectively.
• Communicate with senior leadership to influence acceptance of current practices and approaches.
• Lead complex system scope and project objectives, coordinating team activities effectively.
• Manage team performance through regular feedback and oversee the formal performance review process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX design and/or design management experience required; 7+ years preferred.
• Strong background in marketing experience design, consumer product design, and mobile platform design in an agile delivery model.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Miro.
• Strong team management and team building skills.
