About the position

As the Director of Web Operations and Digital Marketing at Scripps Health, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the governance and execution of the organization's consumer-facing web properties and digital marketing initiatives. This position is crucial in ensuring that all digital platforms comply with exceptional user experience design principles, accessibility requirements, and regulatory mandates. You will collaborate closely with IT, clinical teams, and various stakeholders to integrate web products with electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring a seamless experience for users. Your responsibilities will include utilizing data analytics and market research to inform web product development and optimize digital marketing campaigns for maximum effectiveness and return on investment (ROI). You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products that align with business objectives and provide significant value to both patients and providers. Additionally, you will manage SEO/SEM strategies, marketing initiatives, and display advertising campaigns, ensuring they remain within budget while identifying trends and insights to optimize spending and performance. In this role, you will also direct the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to drive growth and innovation within the organization. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining Scripps Health's commitment to delivering high-quality acute healthcare services and enhancing patient care through continuous innovation and adherence to the highest standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the governance and execution of Scripps Health's consumer-facing web properties and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with user experience design principles, accessibility requirements, and regulatory mandates.
  • Collaborate with IT, clinical teams, and stakeholders to integrate web products with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Utilize data analytics and market research to inform web product development and optimize digital marketing campaigns.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products that align with business objectives.
  • Manage SEO/SEM, marketing strategy, and display advertising campaigns within budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing and web product management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong preference for experience in managing digital marketing initiatives and web product governance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
