About the position

The Director of Women's and Children's Services at Holy Cross Health is responsible for the planning, development, organization, and leadership of the Women's and Children's Division activities. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for patients while fostering collaboration among hospitals, physicians, and community partners. The Director will lead operational management, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development within the division, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a safe and caring environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Women's & Children's Services, creating a collaborative structure that aligns hospitals, clinics, and community stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and evaluate programs and services that support clinical practice, patient care delivery, and operational excellence.
• Drive high reliability, quality, and cost efficiency through LEAN and performance improvement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership and physician colleagues to develop the strategic vision, promote program growth, and share best practices.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, systems, and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality care across the continuum.
• Mentor, coach, and inspire teams while managing resources effectively to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

• Current Maryland RN license and/or Compact State licensure.
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Health-Related Field, or Business required.
• Minimum of 7 years of nursing practice and 5 years of management experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage teams and build effective relationships.
• Proven ability to analyze data, manage change, and implement solutions that drive results.
• Demonstrated expertise in resource management, operational planning, and navigating ambiguity under pressure.
