About the position

The Director position at AIPAC focuses on enhancing political fundraising efforts and building relationships with high-level donors to support pro-Israel initiatives. The role involves creating and executing development plans, providing political updates, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce CRM. The Director will work collaboratively with the research team and existing leadership to engage prospects and meet acquisition goals for AIPAC.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a development plan aimed at identifying new donor prospects and increasing support for pro-Israel political candidates.
  • Provide timely political and policy updates to inspire involvement in pro-Israel politics and AIPAC.
  • Utilize existing leadership to host parlor meetings and engage prospects.
  • Work closely with the DC-based Research team to identify high-level donor prospects.
  • Maintain and update Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate logging of activities and communications.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with high-level donors to increase their investment in AIPAC's work.
  • Meet acquisition goals for pro-Israel politics and AIPAC.

Requirements

  • Passion for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship and knowledge of related issues.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in political fundraising, sales, development, or a related field with a successful track record.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate experience.
  • Proven track record in sales, client relations, or political fundraising.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to form close relationships with AIPAC members.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar tools.

  • Experience with Outreach.io or other similar tools.
