About the position

The Disaster Relief Marketing Specialist at Matthew 25: Ministries is responsible for leading digital outreach efforts to promote disaster relief initiatives. This role focuses on creating engaging content, managing digital campaigns, and optimizing communication strategies to enhance community engagement during disaster responses.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality photo and video content for web, email, and social media platforms.
• Develop timely insider reports during disaster responses, including real-time stats and visuals.
• Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns to raise awareness of disaster relief efforts.
• Coordinate monthly and event-specific E-newsletters focused on disaster relief updates.
• Monitor social media, website engagement, and campaign performance to optimize outreach.
• Respond to daily social media interactions and prioritize marketing projects.
• Update website content and manage bounce lists in Constant Contact after E-newsletter distribution.
• Curate and post marketing items across all social media platforms to showcase impactful visuals from disaster relief activities.
• Create and execute targeted campaigns during active disaster responses to keep supporters informed and engaged.
• Collaborate with partners to develop reports featuring contributions and impact during disaster relief operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, preferably within nonprofit or disaster relief.
• Experience in digital analytics, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media management.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, HTML, and Constant Contact or other mass marketing platforms.
• Strong ability to create visually compelling content and analyze data for campaign improvement.
• Exceptional written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively and manage multiple projects.
