Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of a collegial Hospitalist group.
• Collaborate with nurses and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage a typical census of 15-17 patients per day in a 70-bed hospital.
• Utilize robust Intensivist support for patient management.
• Participate in a schedule of 24 weeks per year, totaling 168 shifts, with 2 extra weeks off.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hospital Medicine.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a hospital setting during residency or prior practice.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
