About the position

The E-Discovery / Document Review Project Manager at Nelson Mullins is a pivotal role that serves as the central point of contact among various stakeholders, including merits counsel, client teams, and review teams. This position is responsible for overseeing the progress of data through the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), ensuring that project requirements are met from inception to completion. The role involves creating essential documentation, monitoring daily operations, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact among merits counsel, client teams, and review teams.
• Oversee multiple teams to progress data through the EDRM.
• Provide substantive and technological assistance to attorney teams.
• Create essential documentation for case support, including project specifications and review manuals.
• Monitor daily operations and furnish status updates.
• Provide feedback to initial reviewers to address unforeseen challenges.
• Interact regularly with QC and leadership teams to monitor project advancement.
• Conduct final quality assessments before client deliverables are dispatched.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in managing large document review teams.
• Proficient understanding of litigation technology, including applications like Relativity, Concordance, Cellebrite, and Clearwell.
• Robust analytical capabilities and attention to detail for assessing production set quality.
• Exceptional project management expertise with a track record of formulating reports and procedures.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership.
