About the position

Wilson Elser is currently seeking a Paralegal to join a national team serving a broad litigation portfolio to assist with conducting investigations and research into case-related information. This position offers remote and hybrid working arrangements, providing flexibility to the right candidate. In this role, the Paralegal will be responsible for managing and responding to litigation discovery requests, which includes assisting with discovery requests and document productions. The position requires close collaboration and coordination with stakeholders both inside and outside the firm. The Paralegal will also be tasked with obtaining and managing client documents, including electronic data, and determining the potential existence of documents that may be relevant to each case. Additionally, maintaining and organizing evidentiary data and case-related information according to best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation is essential to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to litigation discovery requests, including assisting with discovery requests and document productions
  • Closely and effectively collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders inside and outside the Firm
  • Obtain and manage client documents, including electronic data, and determine potential existence of documents that may be relevant to each case
  • Maintain and organize evidentiary data and case-related information pursuant to best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree; a BA in Paralegal Studies and/or Paralegal Certificate is a plus
  • 1+ years litigation paralegal experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to exercise professionalism, integrity, and discretion with confidential and sensitive information is required
  • Demonstrated ability to employ team collaboration software is a plus
  • Experience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems, including computer-assisted review technologies, a plus
