About the position
The Dishwasher position at Blackstone Consulting Inc. is a full-time role focused on supporting the kitchen team in a corporate café environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely manner.
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and lifting items in other areas as requested.
- Ensure the dish room and equipment are clean and organized.
- Step in as line servers when the café gets busy.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in customer service or high volume food service, preferably in larger corporate programs or full-service hotels.
- 1 year of dishwasher experience preferred.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of conduct and confidentiality.
Nice-to-haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic level knowledge of health and safety rules.
- Demonstrable high level of customer service is mandatory.
- Dynamic and agile with the ability to switch between locations and job duties.
