Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.
• Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes and utensils promptly after guests finish their meals.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assisting cooks during busy periods.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly to meet health and safety standards.
• Help set up for banquets or catering events by arranging tables and serving ware as directed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with bussing, catering, banquet setups, or hotel operations is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
