About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Busser to join our team at Tryon City Tavern in Rochester, NY. This part-time position is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our dining establishment. As a Dishwasher/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen and dining areas are kept in pristine condition, which is vital for providing an excellent dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, either using dishwashers or by hand. Additionally, you will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition, which is essential for food safety and hygiene. In this role, you will also assist with food preparation as needed, which may include basic tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling dishes. Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests is another important duty, as it helps to ensure a smooth flow of service. You will be expected to support servers and kitchen staff as required, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.
