About the position
The Dishwasher/Cleaner position at Sweet Lizzy P Cakes & Treats involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bakery environment. This part-time role is essential for ensuring that all kitchen equipment and workspaces are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall efficiency and hygiene of the bakery operations.
Responsibilities
- Washing, cleaning, and drying of cake pans, tools, sheet pans, and all related equipment.
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Wipe down racks, guest-facing glass displays, and perform general cleaning and maintenance of the bakery space.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Time management skills to meet timelines.
- Good communication skills to engage with guests and teammates.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment is a plus but not required.
