About the position

The Dishwasher/Food Runner position at Celebration Brewing Company is a part-time role focused on maintaining cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, deliver food orders, and ensure compliance with food safety standards, contributing to a dynamic culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation spaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and organizing ingredients.
• Deliver food orders accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to guests in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support catering events or banquets by assisting with setup, breakdown, and service as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food handling practices is an asset; culinary skills are a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
