About the position
The Dishwasher at Kisco Senior Living is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dining ware and kitchen equipment. This full-time role also involves assisting in food preparation and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. The position requires working Wednesday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, with a starting pay of $20 per hour and a hiring bonus of $500.
Responsibilities
- Load or unload food service cart.
- Pick up and/or deliver supplies and food.
- Wash/Clean all dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
- Assist in some aspects of food preparation.
- Assist servers in any dish clearing needs in the dining room.
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen, store room and other designated areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floor as well as walk-ins and other designated areas as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Entry level position requiring under 1 year of experience in a similar field.
Nice-to-haves
- 6-8 months of experience in a similar field.
