SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a reliable Dishwasher for a private school dining hall in Memphis, TN. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable and willing to learn, as we are open to training motivated candidates who may not have prior experience. The Dishwasher will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring that all utensils, dishes, and pots are properly washed and sorted. The Dishwasher will be responsible for interacting positively with SAGE guests and team members, providing service with a smile. This role includes disposing of waste, cleaning, restocking, and replenishing serving lines and stations to ensure an exquisite dining experience for our guests. Additionally, the Dishwasher will set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize kitchen equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.
- Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes, and pots.
- Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
- Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
- Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
- Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
