About the position
We are seeking a full-time Dishwasher to join our Food Services Team. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, supporting food preparation, and ensuring a smooth operation within the restaurant environment. The Dishwasher will work approximately 36-40 hours per week, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by performing various cleaning and dishwashing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and pots.
- Operate dishwashing equipment.
- Distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Empty trash containers as required.
- Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
- Follow safety regulations; report injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor.
- Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal instructions in English.
- Food Handler's card required.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have scheduling flexibility.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Fundamental understanding of sanitation.
