Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or using a dishwashing machine.
• Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and trays.
• Polishes silver using various equipment and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with outlined safety procedures and standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or prep cook is preferred, but willing to train.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
