About the position

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper at Trinity School Midland is a full-time, nonexempt position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen wares and assisting kitchen staff with daily operations. This role supports the school's mission by ensuring a safe and orderly work environment while contributing to food preparation and service tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Clean trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
• Support other areas by prepping, putting up groceries, front of the kitchen service, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Relevant industrial kitchen experience, preferred.
• Proficiency in English for daily communication, reporting, and customer interactions.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators in support of the mission of the school.
