About the position

The Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep position at Creek Valley Retirement Community is a full-time role focused on ensuring a first-class dining experience for residents and their guests. The role involves working collaboratively with the Culinary and Dining Services team under the direction of the Executive Chef, performing essential tasks related to meal preparation and kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and stocking the salad bar.
• Fill refreshment carafes and set tables in the dining room.
• Reset the dining room and kitchen after meals by washing dishes, removing trash, and busing tables.
• Work alongside the culinary and dining team in a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Adhere to the Core Values of Respect, Kindness & Compassion, Honesty, and Service Excellence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the food service industry.
• Knowledge of food prep and/or dish washing is preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers, and the community.
