About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic dishwasher/utilitarian to join our team at fit-flavors. This role focuses on supporting both professional and personal growth while maintaining the cleanliness of our dishes. You will work closely with our sous chefs and head chef to ensure our standards are met. If you are passionate about health, enjoy helping others, and are eager to grow, this is the team for you!

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of all dishes.
• Prioritize cleaning of the most frequently used dishes or those needed by each department to complete their work.
• Keep the organization of clean and dirty dishes.
• Collect dirty dishes from the packaging department.
• Remove labels from all dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station (clean floors, remove food debris from the station, clean walls, etc.).
• Work with other dishwashers to maintain speed, cleanliness, and organization of dishes.
• Communicate with chefs for other cleaning/preparation tasks when the dish station is busy.
• Change the water in the machine every hour.
• Complete monthly deep cleaning tasks as specified by the Chef De Cuisine and Sous Chefs.

Requirements

• Desire and willingness to develop professionally.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background and/or interest in the health/nutrition industry.
• Willingness to dedicate the time and effort necessary to complete basic job functions.
