About the position

The DoubleTree Hotel and Suites by the Galleria is seeking a self-motivated individual to join their kitchen team. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, focusing on maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen
• Wash and scrub pots and pans, rinse china, glassware, and silverware, load in dishwasher and store on shelves
• Stock delivered food & beverage items in the refrigerator and pantry
• Assist with maintaining organization of pots, pans, china, glassware, and silverware in the kitchen
• Transfer trash to dumpster and assist with maintaining cleanliness of loading dock

Requirements

• Six (6) months of similar experience is preferred
• Flexible to work AM, PM and mid-shifts, holidays and weekends
• Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
• Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds and perform repetitive motions
