About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at Konomi Japanese Restaurant. This part-time, temporary position is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment, supporting food service operations in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently.
• Ensure all kitchenware is sanitized and properly stored after cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
• Support cooks and culinary staff by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food items and cleaning supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required.
