About the position

The Dishwasher at Trapper's Sushi plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for providing an unforgettable dining experience for customers by ensuring that all kitchenware is properly cleaned and stored.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. rice pots, very large cookware and delicate glassware)
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
• Ensure that clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are adequately stocked especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents)
• Check dishwashing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly and dispose according to store procedures
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, bathrooms, and restaurant lobby area as assigned
• Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

Requirements

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or in any restaurant capacity
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
• High school diploma is a plus
• Washington State Food Worker Card is required (before first day of work)
