About the position

As a Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant. This position is essential to ensuring that our guests enjoy their dining experience in a clean and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as operating the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly. Your role will also involve emptying trash in the kitchen and other areas, supporting the cooks with prep work, and preparing our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Supporting the Cooks with prep work and preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits
  • Focusing on team and guest needs, ensuring every decision prioritizes them
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
