Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff.
• Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
• Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen area regularly.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with catering or banquet setups when required.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
