About the position
The Dishwasher position at Roasted involves maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen by washing and sorting soiled dishes, organizing the dish area, and supporting the overall efficiency of the restaurant's operations. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the team's success and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for shifts.
- Maintain a clean kitchen and properly wash and sort soiled dishes.
- Keep the dish area free of clutter and organized.
- Set up dish stations, including dish washer and sinks.
- Maintain the dry storage area and organization of storage shelves.
- Lift up to 50lbs as needed.
- Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift.
Requirements
- Ability to keep pace with a fast turnaround in a busy kitchen.
- Experience in dishwashing or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods.
